Here are some new images of Compile Heart's newly announced fantasy
adventure RPG Cross-Edge, which features characters from Capcom, Nippon
Ichi, Bandai Namco, Gust and Idea Factory:
- CAPCOM - Vampire Darkstalkers series: Morrigan, Felicia, Demitri
- BANDAI NAMCO - Ar-Tonelico series: Orica, Misha, Shurelia
- NIPPON ICHI - Disgaea series: Etona, Prini
- IDEA FACTORY - Spectral Souls series: Miu
- GUST - Atelier & Mana Khemia series: Lilia, Rose, Marie
The protagonist can either be a boy or girl, who woke up in a twisted world, which
exists by devouring souls from other realms and worlds. You must team up with other
characters and save their worlds and the souls from being devoured. You can travel to
different worlds, including the Underworld (Vampire Darkstalkers and Disgaea) and
Dreamworld (Ar Tonelico and Atelier / Mana Khemia).
The battle system is similar to Ar Tonelico 2, it is a turn based battle system, each
character is assigned to a button, and you can chain attacks into combos by pressing
different button combinations. During the game characters can also obtain special uniforms
from liberated souls which increase their stats and power.
