Square Enix released its first iPod tactical RPG called Song
Summoner: The Unsung Heroes in Japan, the game is compatible with iPod Nano (3rd
Generation), iPod Classics and iPod (5th Generation). In this game the enemies are
mechanical soldiers who dominated the world, during the quest you can recruit characters
to your team, and in the battles you can use music as weapons to attack the enemies. Music
can be used to attack enemies, much like casting summon spells, different song types have
different effects. Song Summoner can be purchased from the iTune store for 600 yen.
