Capcom released new info on Monster Hunter 4 for 3DS:

• The water stage will not present in MH4
• You can take two Felynes to battles, there will be some new elements for them
• There will be new weapons and armor designs
• The game will have even more NPCs than the previous games
• Monsters ill be able to use land formation as well
• You can grab on the monsters, it is uncertain whether you can ride on them
• Your base camp can be anywhere, instead of at a fixed location
• The camera angle is no longer fixed, you can move it around
