 Tecnoblog reported that Sony will soon introduce a new slimline model of the PlayStation 3 hardware, first info was leaked from Brazilian telecommunications regulator Anatel. The new model will be modestly smaller than the current model and the disc-loading slot will be replaced with a flip-top lid. Three versions of the hardware will be available, including CECH-4011A (16GB), CECH-4011B (250GB) and CECH-4011C (500GB). Rumors also suggested that Sony will announce the new PS3 models at Gamescom 2012, which will take place in Germany next month.
