Welcome to the Torontobus page! The purpose of this page is to share some of my photo collection together with the fleet information about the transit service in Toronto.

Latest about Orion VII Diesels 7400-7883, 7900-7979, 8000-8099, 8100-8219, 8300-8396 :
7794 was renumbered to 7882 after a fatal accident on Aug 20 2010, 7666 became 7883 in January 2017.
So far 375 buses in the 7400-7883 series have been prematurely retired. more
All 217 buses in the 8100-8219 and 8300-8396 series have received mid-life body and structural rebuild more

Latest about Orion VII Hybrid Electrics 1000-1149, 1200-1423, 1500-1689, 1700-1829:
The first Hybrid bus 1000 arrived on Apr 1 2006, the last batch buses 1090, 1132, 1136, 1143, 1145, 1147, 1148 and 1149 arrived by the end of December 2006. 
1517 was damaged in an arson on Sept 2 2009, 1671 and 1256 were destroyed by fire in May 2011, and Nov 2012
All 150 buses in the 1000-1149 series have received mid-life body and structural rebuild
more
271 buses in the 1200-1423 and 1500-1689 series have received mid-life body and structural rebuild more
And 156 buses in the 1200 -1423, 1500 - 1689 and 1700 - 1829 have been retired more

TTC 1986 Flyer 6181 (BJ4566) was retired in December 2005 after 19 years and 5 months of service. click for larger photo


Latest about Low Floor A/C Flyers 7300-7350:

All of these buses were licensed and have begun in active service or for road tests. They have 275 bph and 5 Speed transmission (4 main gears with 5th overdrive) is sufficient enough for A/C to run smoothly in the summer months. All of  them are Queensway-based. After 9 years of active service, these buses have gone through the mid-life rebuild program by Dec 2009, their rebuild schedule are: 7313, 7323, 7324, 7331, 7343 (Mar 2008), 7306, 7307, 7318, 7333, 7341 (Apr 2008), 7317, 7319 (May 2008), 7316, 7334, 7342 (Jul 2008), 7302, 7326, 7332, 7337 (Aug 2008), 7308, 7344 (Sept 2008), 7336, 7340 (Oct 2008), 7350 (Nov 2008), 7309, 7315, 7328, 7349 (Dec 2008), 7311, 7338 (Jan 2009), 7310, 7321, 7325. 7335, 7348 (Feb 2009), 7314, 7329 (Mar 2009), 7304, 7305 (May 2009), 7320, 7322 (Jun 2009), 7312, 7346 (Jul 2009), 7301, 7327 (Aug 2009), 7303, 7347 (Sept 2009), 7300, 7330, 7339 (Nov 2009), 7345 (Dec 2009)
All 51 of these buses have been retired. (Oct 2016)

Latest about Nova LFS Artics 9000-9152 and Nova LFS 8400-8504, 8510-8617, 8620-8716, 8720-8964, 9200-9239, 3100-3370, 3400-3683:
All articulated buses have begun active service by January 2015, the 40ft LFS 8400 arrived in March 2015  (May 2015)
