Magicbox Board Improvements. Suggestions?

I've taken the liberty of making such a thread, because we now have 3 brand new sparkly Admins, who actually post here and seem to give some sort of a crap to what goes on.
I also assume that with their new Admin powers, they can make any changes that a majority of the board wants, happen a bit swifter, instead of waiting 5 months or whatever to contact Admin himself.
So, if you have any suggestions, that don't include banning welshfreak ; ) drop them by and then there is at least, the slim hope of an Admin taking notice.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Personnally, I'd like to see the debate/community board merged, since debates happen there all the time; and since this thread will cause some debate anyway, IN the community board, then it just seems silly.

But anyways, over to you guys. I await Nindalf's sales pitch about merging into a GAF replicate.

I'd say keep the debates separate, some people purposelt stay out of that section. I woulnd't want to stumble accidentally into a heated debate.

I also say keep it seperate and just do a better job of keeping religion, political, and "what do you like better" threads in the debate section.

I really hate when something that should stay in the debate section pops up in the community section to try and get more people to click it. think, debate section is mostly dead for a reason.

In short, kill the spambots/advertisers and keep in tune w/the members.

IMO most changes would be a waste of the person's time doing them. Honestly what would merging different sections do besides create more chaos? I think it's ok that the debate section sits dead-ish because if you look at the threads in that section they're almost all are over 6 pages in length. So there's still content there.

In response to the "keeping out the spammers/advertisers", has the plan to make a "5 posts after joining before making a thread" idea gone through yet?

We're still waiting on admin to free up the options. I expect a waiting period of..3 months knowing him.
