- Gust announced Rizu no Atelier for Nintendo DS, the latest work of the Atelier RPG series, the game will have Wi-Fi support.

- Nintendo will release the MistWalker developed NDS RPG Ash: Archaic Sealed Heat in Japan in 2007.

- Sega will release the NDS trading card game Sangokushi Taisen DS in Japan on January 25, 2007.

- Sony announced PaRappa the Rapper for PSP, a remake of the classic PSone music game from 1996. The PSP version will have new elements not found in the original.

- Tri-Ace, developer of the Star Ocean and Valkyrie Profile series, announced a new Xbox 360 title called Infinite Undiscovery, a fantasy RPG with real-time battles, the game will switch between battle and field scene seamlessly.

- Microsoft will have a playable version of MistWalker's Xbox 360 RPG Lost Odyssey at Tokyo Game Show, the demo will have a play length of 40 - 60 minutes. Lost Odyssey will have a command based battle instead of action based, the game will run at 30fps, the release date is 2007.

- Tecmo announced its Xbox 360 sports game Dead or Alive Xtreme 2 will be playable at Tokyo Game Show.

- Activision announced its Xbox 360 shooter Call of Duty 2 has sold over 1 million copies in US since it was released on November 17, 2005.

- Sega announced Miyazato Sega Golf Club for PlayStation 3, a professional golf title based on Sega's arcade game Sega Golf Club, featuring real name golf professionals similar to EA's Tiger Woods. The PS3 version will have four genuine golf clubs plus a number of original clubs, and you can play online against players from over the world.

- Sega mentioned that the PS3 version of Virtua Fighter 5 will be playable at Tokyo Game Show.

- Namco Bandai's PS3 action game Mobile Suit Gundam: Target in Sight will become a launch title in Japan on November 11, 2006.

- Capcom announced Biohazard: Umbrella Chronicles for Wii, a new action game which turns your Wii controller to a pistol and other weapons, you can use the controller to perform various actions. More details will be available at TGS.

- Weekly Famitsu has posted a Wii game release schedule for Japan, a few new titles were revealed, including Capcom's Biohazard: Umbrella Chronicles.
