- Steve Job announced that iPod Touch have 50% of the game market worldwide in terms of game sales (include both paid and free games), outselling both DS and PSP game sales combined. Apple has shipped 120 million iOS devices worldwide, while Nintendo shipped 133 millions NDS and Sony shipped 59 millions PSP.
- Apple announced iOS 4.1 will be out next week, which will have High Dynamic Range photos, HD Video Uploads over WiFi, TV shows rentals and Game Center, a feature allows multiplayer gaming and scores tracking.
- Apple also announced iOS 4.2, with will support multitasking to iPad, AirPlay (steam music and video over WiFi), and wireless printing. The iOS 4.2 will be available in November.
- Apple announced a new Apple TV will be shipping next month for $99, which can stream content over Wireless-N network, and it has HDMI, Ethernet, optical audio and USB port. The device has no local storage, it is a stream only device. Apple will also launch HDTV rentals from ABC and Fox for 99 cents each, and first run HD movies will be starting at $4.99. Other supported service include Netflix, YouTube, Flickr and Mobile Me. The max resolution is 720P (1280x720).
- Apple will release the new iPod Touch next week, which will have HD Retina Display, Apple A4 Core processor, 3-axis gyroscope, Game Center and FaceTime. The device will have both front camera and HD back camera capable for HD video recording. The 8GB model will be for $229, 32GB will be for $299 and 64GB will be $399.
- Apple announced re-designed iPod Suffle, which will have control buttons (finally), 15 hours battery life and available in 5 colors, for $49 next week.
- Apple announced 6th generation iPod Nano, which is now 46% smaller and 42% lighter, it has a multi-touch screen like iPod Touch and support 24 hours audio playback. The device will be available in 7 colors, to be available at $149 for 8GB or $179 for 16GB.
- Apple announced iTune 10 will support all the new devices plus a new Ping music-centered social network, which allows you to follow people, establish circle of friends, post comments, find custom songs, album charts and concert listings.

- Square Enix announced SaGa 3: Jikuu no Hasha: Shadow or Light for NDS, the remake of the classic GameBoy RPG SaGa 3: Jikuu no Hasha [Final Fantasy Legend III] from 1991. The game will have 3D visual and revamped system like last year's SaGa 2 remake.
